Welcome to Womanhood Course

Becoming a woman is a very special time in a girl’s life. It can also be confusing, uncomfortable or embarrassing for many growing up in our culture. This program is designed to foster a love and appreciation of womanhood and the changes it brings to our bodies, emotions and inner selves.
Welcome to Womanhood ™ was designed with consultation and insights from Rebbitzin Blumi Rosenfeild of Pittsburgh, PA. This class seeks to create an open atmosphere where girls will be introduced to the different aspects the changes of puberty while infusing all aspects of this sensitive topic with Torah values and explanations

Aspects of the creative program include:

PowerPoint slide presentations to assist in lectures
- Journal writing and drawing on specific topics that pertain to subjects at hand
- The relationship between becoming a Bas Mitzvah age girl and physical aspect of womanly changes
- How the keeping and understanding Tznuis (Modesty) is a gift designed to nurture the beauty G-d has created us with
- The changes of puberty, what to expect, and the anatomy of a girls changing body
- Understanding menstruation, using products and caring and nurturing oneself
- Creating positive body images and self esteem
- Question and answers submitted anonymously
