About Chana Luba Ertel
Chana
Luba Ertel has been a labor assistant since 1998. Her training began
in Israel at the Misgav Ladach Birthing Hospital in Jerusalem, where
she studied childbirth intensively through a Professional Labor Assistant
program and worked many hours on the labor and delivery floor.
Since then her experience attending births has brought her to homes, hospitals and childbirth centers assisting many kinds of birthing families.
She began teaching Childbirth Education in Brooklyn in 2000 and has continued to teach and attend births here in Amherst, MA.
She is a CAPPA Certified Childbirth Educator, a certified DONA and CAPPA labor doula, a trained Hypnobirthing instructor, a CAPPA certified labor doula trainer and most importantly, the mother of three children.
